December at CMCS: A Season of Celebration & Community

Image
Dear CMCS Community, I hope you all enjoyed a joyful and restful Thanksgiving surrounded by family and friends. As we return to school, I’m excited for the next three weeks ahead. This is always such a special time at Community—busy, joyful, and full of celebration. Our students and staff will be hard at work preparing for our upcoming Holiday Program, and classrooms will be buzzing with winter activities and learning. As we approach the end of the first semester, we are grateful for the dedication, cooperation, and school spirit that make our community so strong. Thank you for your continued partnership and support. I look forward to a wonderful few weeks together as we finish the semester and celebrate the season as one CMCS family. Best, Toni

Happy Thanksgiving!

Fall Back This Weekend!

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 2 Daylight Saving Time ends on Sunday, November 2 . At 2:00 a.m., clocks move back one hour as we return to Standard Time. When you set your clocks back, it’s also a great time to change the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide alarms to help keep your family safe. With the time change, the sun will set earlier, and there will be less daylight in the evenings. Please remind your children to walk on sidewalks whenever possible, travel with friends or in groups, wear bright or reflective clothing. And for drivers—please slow down and stay alert, especially near crosswalks and schools. Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe during this darker time of year!
