First Day of School - Monday, August 14, starts at 8:07 a.m.
Welcome to the 2023-24 school year! Campus opens for students at 7:30 a.m. Parents are welcome to accompany their students to classrooms on the first day of school. Staff will be on hand to meet unaccompanied students at valet and the busses and escort them to their classrooms. Teachers will be available to meet students outside of their classrooms at 7:45 a.m. Classroom instruction will begin promptly at 8:07 a.m., so teachers will be closing their classroom doors at that time. All parents who are on campus will be asked to leave the classroom areas and join us at the front of the school for coffee, refreshments, and another Meet & Greet opportunity. This is a great time to meet the parents of your child's classmates and bus companions and exchange contact information.
This year we will hold all school events in person unless otherwise noted. Morning assemblies will be on the upper yard every Friday morning at 8:15. beginning August 25th. Parents are welcome to attend but must exit campus immediately following the assembly unless attending a meeting, workshop or other school business. In these cases, parents must sign in at the main office. If attending Teatime, parents may sign in at Room 23.

IMMUNIZATION COMPLIANCE
All students enrolled in California schools must present immunization records or medical exemption documentation upon admission to school unless there are special circumstances. In order to assist parents in providing immunization records, LAUSD has launched Vive's Immunization Assistant Tool. Parents must have a Parent Portal account to access this helpful tool. (Click here to watch a quick video on how to create a Parent Portal account.) The state of California no longer allows religious or personal belief exemptions (Health and Safety Code section 120325). Only medical exemptions are allowed.
