Happy Fall, Y'all!!
The first day of Fall 2024 arrives with the autumn equinox on Sunday, September 22. Happy Fall, Y'all!! As we move into the fall season, I am grateful for relief from the 90+ degree temperatures and the horrible ant infestations. Hopefully, neither will be returning to our campus this year! You should have received my communication that our campus was treated by the district's Pest Management department on September 17-18. Since then, we have seen a dramatic decrease in the number of ants in classrooms, offices, backpacks, and lunch boxes! Time flies, doesn't it? Believe it or not, now is the time for parents of 4th-5th grade students to begin thinking about middle school. M y daughter is now 26 years old (!!), but I still clearly remember each step of her stressful application process for middle/high school. (Not as stressful as college apps and FAFSA, but stressful none the less!) Please let us help take some of the stress out of this process for you and your student
Six-Week Invitational Parent Conference Week
Six-Week Invitational Parent Conferences September 16-20 All kindergarten parents meet with their child's teacher to discuss academic, behavior, or attendance concerns and/or just to get an update on their child's progress. The teacher may review Beginning-of-Year Assessment results with parents at this time. Parent Conferences for Grades 1-5 are optional. If you do not receive an invitation from your child's teacher but you would like to meet with them, please contact the teacher directly to make a conference appointment.
