  Six-Week Invitational Parent Conferences September 28 - October 2 It's been six weeks and that means it's time for the six week invitational parent conferences. All kindergarten parents meet with their child's teacher to discuss academic, behavior, attendance concerns and/or just to get an update on their child's progress. The teacher may review Beginning-of-Year Assessment results with parents at this time. Parent Conferences for Grades 1-5 are optional. If you do not receive an invitation from your child's teacher but you would like to meet with them, please contact the teacher directly to make a conference appointment.

  Every Day Counts:  Let's Get our Attendance Back on Track! End of 25/26 School Year As of 9/12/2026 Hello, Community Families, We need your help with something that has a tremendous impact on student success— attendance ! One of the simplest and most important things we can do for our children is make sure they are at school, on time, and ready to learn each day. Great things happen at CMCS every day, and we don’t want our students to miss a minute of it! As we approach our 25th day of school, it’s a good time to check in on how we’re doing—and set a goal to make every school day count. At the end of last school year, our cumulative chronic absenteeism rate was down to just 6.3% —an amazing achievement that showed what our Community can accomplish when we work together to make attendance a priority!
