Our HIT Parade!!

Hello Community!

It was wonderful to see so many families come out to enjoy our Parade of Masks Car Parade! Working on this parade was a welcome respite from the outside world. Kathryn, especially, was out-of-her-mind excited to put her creative talents to work!

Kathryn created the large tombstones for the parade. She has an excellent eye for detail!

She also organized and led a steady stream of excited volunteers in getting the work done . . .

Alice worked with Kathryn every step of the way from creating the ghosts, preparing the mural, and setting up the yard.

Elizabeth Jaspan, who led our PoM parent committee of many, spent two hot and tireless days on the upper yard setting up.

Edith Pensamiento and Fabiola Bermudez set up the most beautiful, colorful Dia de los Muertos display!

Parent Velicia Misher made numerous store runs, donated countless items, helped with set up, and then came back immediately after the parade to help clean up.

There were SO many volunteers who helped in one way or another. Unfortunately, we didn't take names-- but we thank each and every one of them for making our first Parade of Masks Car Parade a SPOOKY SUCCESS!!
