2021 Presidential Inauguration
This week is promising to be an exciting one as we look forward to the inauguration of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris as the 46th President and 49th Vice President of the United States. At age 78, Biden will be the oldest President to take the Oath of Office. Harris, will be the first woman, as well as the first of African American and South Asian descent, to serve as Vice President of the United States. Teachers may choose to livestream this historic event, which occurs at 9:00 a.m. PST, on Wednesday, January 20. Consistent with observing all other historic political events, employees are to exercise good judgment, remain mindful as authority figures relative to students, and avoid partisanship of any kind. Please speak with your child's teacher prior to your participation in any classroom discussions or activities so that we may ensure that all adults adhere to these expectations in the classroom.
