Thank you, Parent Volunteers!

Thank you, Parent Volunteers!

Parents, if you have the time, please be sure to sign up for valet on Fresh Schools. We need and appreciate your help!

We are so very grateful for our wonderful parent volunteers! They were at the top of their game in helping to supervise our afternoon bus riders and keeping the morning valet and check-in lines humming along like a well-oiled machine! One valet Dad even made sure that each child said, "I love you!" to their parent before leaving the valet line!! How awesome is that!?

Thank you to these incredible volunteers:

On Thursday, Above & Beyond club members enjoyed a picnic-style lunch, a book of their choice, a cool delicious popsicle, music, dancing, and games.

From the looks of it, the popsicle was the hit of the day!

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 30TH

 SAVE THE DATE!

Get ready for our first Dine & Donate event of the year! Our amazing CMCS parent, Lynda A., hosts several of these events each year and they are always a success because they're so easy! Just order a meal from your favorite restaurant and CMCS gets paid! How easy is that? It's a WIN-WIN!!!

This first Dine & Donate event is especially wonderful because . . .
  • It's PANDA EXPRESS! Who doesn't love Panda Express?!?!
  • It's NATIONWIDE! Start NOW sharing the news with family and friends across the country. All meals purchased from Panda Express on Sept. 30 using the special code below will help raise $$$ for CMCS! Screen shot the information below and post it on your favorite social media platform, or call them on the phone, send an email or text . . . you even have time to send an old-fashioned handwritten letter! However you choose to do it,

TELL EVERYONE!

  • It's ALL DAY! You can have a late Panda Express breakfast on the way to work, a quick Panda Express lunch with your work buddies, AND a delicious Panda Express dinner at home with the family. Typical Panda Express hours are 10:00 a.m. - 9:30 p.m.
  • CMCS gets 28% in sales!!!! Imagine the WONDERFUL things we could provide for our students with that!! 🤔 We already started a wish list which includes hand-washing stations for classrooms with no sinks, a large shade covering for the upper yard and more!!
  • It's CONVENIENT!! You don't even have to leave home for this one! You can order online or by app and have it delivered!!! Of course, pick up is ok, too.
*Just for fun: snap a pic of you and your dining mates enjoying a delicious Panda Express meal on Sept. 30th and email to trk2932@lausd.net.
