NEWER NEW COVID UPDATES Effective Monday, January 24:           Click here to read the new COVID-19 Exposure Management Protocols  Beginning the week of January 24th, and until further notice, students are required to wear well-fitting, non-cloth masks of multiple layers with a nose wire. Asymptomatic students will no longer be identified as close contacts and will not be subject to modified or at home quarantine. Quarantine at home applies only to symptomatic close contacts, and those with household exposure who are not fully vaccinated or recovered from COVID-19 in the past 90 days. Individuals currently under modified quarantine orders may be released from quarantine effective immediately, if they are asymptomatic.  If a student does not participate in the mobile testing program on campus, they must test and upload the external lab-confirmed PCR test result via Daily Pass, on a weekly basis.

Hello Community Families,                  What a busy week! Thank you for bearing with us through all of the new updates, guidelines, and red tape! We made some last minute changes to our City of Angels roster, prepared Independent Study (IS) paperwork, teachers provided Independent Study work for those requesting it, we provided quarantine and isolation instructions for those identified with positive COVID results and their close contacts, and covered for absent staff. Students were happy to be back and, for the most part, have no problem adjusting to our requests to wear surgical-like masks over their cloth ones. Many parents have already taken the extra step of purchasing KN95/N95 masks for their children ( Thank you!!! ) Please check out this list of great

Our plan was to begin inviting parent volunteers back and possibly bringing back some of the school-wide events that we've missed so much these last few months. However, with the ongoing pandemic, we must put our hopes on hold a little longer as we brace for an uncertain first few weeks of the second semester. Here are a few of the changes that you'll need to know as we return to school: The first day of school for students has been changed to Tuesday, January 11.  A baseline test for COVID-19, received after January 3,  is required of all students and staff before returning to campus. Without evidence of a negative test result, students and staff will not be admitted to campus. Students and staff who have tested positive in the last 90 days and have isolated for the recommended numbe
