Our 5th graders are off to AstroCamp this week! This overnight camp has been a tradition at Community for over 20 years. The camp is in Idyllwild, nestled in the San Jacinto Mountains. The beautiful 80-acre campus is found on the edge of a mountain meadow surrounded by pine, oak, and manzanita trees. Facilities and labs offer state-of-the-art equipment for exploring physical and earth sciences and the natural world. Students will explore the sciences of physics and astronomy through fun, exciting, and educational activities that allow them to explore science in an engaging and hands-on way, while developing as individuals and bonding with classmates. AstroCamp fosters a sense of wonder and builds lifelong memories. Thank you to our 5th grade teachers, parents, and staff for providing this enriching learning experience for our students.
