First Confirmed COVID Cases at CMCS
Good afternoon Community Families, This has been a rough two weeks for parents who are eager to get their kids back in school to learn and interact with their friends and classmates, but at the same time nervous and afraid that they will be exposed to the Coronavirus. We've welcomed all 420 of our unvaccinated 5-10 year-old students back to school after 18-months of school closures/hybrid school. Our school community is very fortunate to get through the first two weeks of school with no positive cases! I consider that a WIN!! But, alas, our good fortune has run out as we were slammed with 5 positive cases confirmed by our on-site testing program this past Friday. (Though, whatever website parents are viewing shows 6 cases, please remember that one of those is the false positive case that I've referred to several times now.)
