  CMCS READ-O-LYMPICS 2024 Get ready to light up the Olympic spirit! This Friday, November 1st, we're kicking off Read-a-Thon 2024, a fun-filled event that combines the joy of reading with raising essential funds for our school. Until December 6th, students will dive into an exhilarating virtual adventure through the Paris Olympics, teaming up as Red, White, and Blue Flames to see who can raise the most money and read the most minutes. Our big goal this year is a whopping $60,000, and we need the help of our amazing Friends & Family to make it happen! Keep an eye out for more details on setting up FundHub this week. We've got awesome incentives for top earners and readers each week, and our final champs will score some thrilling experiences and prizes! Join us in our Read-O-Lympic adventure and help make Read-a-Thon 2024 an unforgettable success!

  Happy Sunday, Community Families, This week, our Community Council meets on Tuesday. See the agenda below. Remember, if you have a concern or suggestion for our school, reach out to grade level Council rep. or come to make a public comment at the Council Meeting. If you didn't get to register your student for the first session of Tuesday Enrichment, you're in luck! The second session begins in a couple of weeks and the sign-up is linked below. It fills up fast, so make sure to register today! Math Kangaroo begins tomorrow. This year, we have CMCS teachers leading every group with the support of some very special parent volunteers. Last year, six of our students placed nationally and this year, we're looking to do even better! Math Kangaroo is very challenging, but also very fun. We look forward to working and playing with our Kangaroo Mathletes!! Special shout out to Howard Chiang who pours his heart and passion into this project. Thank you, Howard, for everything you do!
