Back-to-School Night

Image
We're so excited to have Back-to-School Night in-person and on campus this year! It will be a very busy night for parents as we introduce our new CFF board members, meet our amazing CMCS teachers, check out the classrooms and textbooks, and learn what our students will be doing and learning this school year. Parents will be asked to sign up for committees and/or Room Parent positions. Community Council nominees will introduce themselves before ballot voting at each grade level.  This event will be a busy and exciting night for parents, but not so much for the students! Since they do not actively participate in this event, they will have had an especially long day at school. Welcome Back, Community Families! It has been an exciting first week of school! I'd like to give a very special shout out to those who worked through the summer (or most of it) to get our campus and classes ready for the new school year:  our plant staff, Andrew, Jovany, and Rick, and office staff, Lalita and Maria!! This first day of school couldn't happen without them! Thanks to everyone in our school community for getting this school year off to a wonderful start. We are all ready to learn, achieve, and grow together! 💙💙 Check out these happy photos of families, students, and staff on our first day of the 22-23 school year!

I was so happy to spend a few days with my family (including my daughter, Symone 😄) in Napa early this summer. The wine was delicious, the vineyards so beautiful, and the experience was completely relaxing!  I also enjoyed meeting so many new families and students this summer at the summertime playdates.  We all made new friends and had a great time socializing, playing, and getting acquainted.  KUDOS to the amazing CFF volunteers who worked so hard to make these 3 playdates so fun and exciting! School begins in less than a week! We're excited to have everyone on campus to begin an amazing new year. Check this weekly blog, usually posted on Sundays, and our website, communitymagnet.org to keep up with the latest information. Here is a bit of important information you'll need to know . . . NEW PARENT ORIENTATION New Parent Orientation is this Wednesday, August 10, 1:00-2...
